Born in London, Yasmine was a Junior Associate before entering full-time
training at The Royal Ballet School, White Lodge and Upper School. In 2009, she
won the Young British Dancer of the Year Competition.
Her major roles with the Company include Gamzatti (La Bayadère),
Odette/Odile (Swan Lake), Giselle, Juliet (Romeo and Juliet), Sugar Plum Fairy
(The Nutcracker), Aurora (The Sleeping Beauty), Irina (Winter Dreams), Florence Billington (The Unknown Soldier) Mathilde Kschessinska (Anastasia), Stop Time Rag and Bethena Waltz (Elite Syncopations), the Girl (The Invitation), Olga (Onegin), Pas de deux Act III (Sylvia), Symphony in C (Balanchine) and a principal role in Jeux. She is currently starring as Kitri in Carlos Acosta’s Don Quixote and has recently danced Aurora as a guest of San Francisco Ballet.
Yasmine was nominated for Best Female Dancer at the 2018 Critics’ Circle National
Dance Awards.
