Join us at 7pm on Tuesday 2nd August 2022 to hear Royal Ballet couple Yuhui Choe and Nehemiah Kish in conversation with professional dance writer, Deborah Weiss.
Yuhui Choe has been a first soloist of the Royal Ballet since 2008, having joined the company as a Prix de Lausanne apprentice in 2002. She trained first in Japan and then in Paris from age 14 before winning first prize and the contemporary prize at the Prix de Lausanne. Her first principal role was Nikiya in La Bayadere, and she has since performed many lead roles including Gamzatti, Cinderella, Aurora, Alice, Lise, Swanhilda, Sugar Plum Fairy and more. She is also a hard-working soloist, having been cast in the recent season of Swan Lake as Siegfried's sister, Lead Swan, Italian Princess and Neapolitan Dance.

Nehemiah Kish was a principal dancer of the Royal Ballet from 2010 to 2019, having previously been a principal at Royal Danish Ballet since 2008 and before that at National Ballet of Canada from 2005. He trained in America and at the National Ballet School in Canada before joining NBC in 2001. As a principal Nehemiah performed all the Princes in the classics, plus Albrecht, Romeo, Onegin, Solor, Des Grieux and more. He has since completed a MA in Arts Administration and Cultural Policy, and is currently the Artistic Director of the upcoming series of Nureyev Legend & Legacy Galas .
