VENUE: Acosta Dance Centre, Building 40, 1 Artillery Square, Woolwich Royal Arsenal, London SE18 6NH
TRANSPORT: Woolwich Station on the Elizabeth Line is a 3 minute walk away. Alternatively, Woolwich Arsenal DLR and National Rail stations are 7 minutes walk on Woolwich New Road. Please see the centre’s website for driving and accessible parking.

The Acosta Dance Centre was opened in September 2023 and is an arm of the Acosta Dance Foundation which also incorporates the Acosta Danza Company and the Acosta Danza Academy in Cuba.

The LBC is delighted to be invited for our second visit.
Invitation from the Acosta Dance Centre:
Join us for a lovely afternoon exploring and supporting the work of the Acosta Dance Foundation at the Acosta Dance Centre in Greenwich. This will include:
- A tour of the Acosta Dance Centre
- Watching rehearsals of Acosta Danza Yunior - Comprising of the most talented graduates of the Acosta Danza Academy in Havana. This is their first time in the UK!
- Watching the Acosta Advanced Training Hub in class - This is a free, full-time, 1 year ballet training programme designed to help talented young dancers transition from training into a professional dance career. Their curriculum encompasses classical ballet training, Contemporary dance, Afro-Cuban dance and more!
- Tea and nibbles!
- Opportunities to support the Acosta Dance Foundation and find out more about the legacy that Carlos Acosta is building.
