TEACHER: Former Royal Ballet principal, DAME DARCEY BUSSELL and Dance Forward staff Andrew Ward and Bethany Kingsley-Garner

We are delighted to have been invited to watch ballet class, pointe work class and variation coaching at DANCE FORWARD’s Autumn 2023 Sunday sessions on three dates in October, November and December.

Each will be taught by Royal Ballet principal ballerinas, and Dance Forward staff, and will take place in the Royal Opera House ballet studios.

Dear London Ballet Circle Members
 
The course is aimed at students attending vocational ballet schools at Intermediate to Advanced Level.  Since 2005, Dance Forward has been running ballet courses to inspire the next generation of dance students with star ballerinas passing on their expertise, passion, dedication and importantly artistry of classical ballet as a performing art form.  
 
The Dance Forward Ballet Course has three distinct sessions.
 
Morning Ballet Class 9.30-11.00
Pointe work Class 11.15-12.15
Coaching Classical Solo 12.30-1.30
 
Olga Mazour will be playing the piano for all 3 sessions.
 
This Autumn we have students flying in from USA, Spain and around the UK to be taught by Yasmine Naghdi, Fumi Kaneko and Dame Darcey Bussell and other star ballerinas. 
 
Dance Forward is delighted to offer London Ballet Circle Members the opportunity of a behind-the-scenes experience seeing young dancers perfect their skills at the hands of great artists.

A few practicalities to note:

Due to ROH regulations on visitors being accompanied at all times, it will not be possible to arrive late, nor to leave early.  Please book only if you can attend the FULL session.  

Tickets for these sessions are £20, which is the same as the charge to parents of the students who wish to watch.
