Activities & events

Our conversations with dancers, choreographers and company directors enable you to find out at first-hand about their life, work and ambitions and put your questions to them in person. We host talks by world famous artists, British stars who are making their name internationally, illustrious former dancers, and leading figures from the UK dance scene.

We organise visits to the country’s top ballet schools to watch young dancers being coached by internationally-renowned teachers. We are also invited to watch Company classes and to observe rehearsals of upcoming productions in London, Birmingham and Leeds.

Private tours of major exhibitions related to dance are also on our agenda from time to time.

On the social side, there is the opportunity to meet fellow members at the various events, including after our popular hybrid In Conversation events at the Royal Ballet School.
